Together We Can Make A Difference

There is a very good reason as to why you should create an account here. An account will allow you to do many things -- but one of the most important things -- is to be able to submit articles you find (or write) about what is currently going on.

This site is all about practical application to actively fight the RIAA and similar entities. However, we need things to apply! We have quite a bit already -- but -- the more we have, the better! Please share what you have with others!

Accounts are manually activated by Administrative Staff to ensure that no spammers end up polluting things. Once your account is activated, you will get an email back about it from a real human being.

Thanks!

UNDER CONSTRUCTION. PLEASE BARE WITH US, BUT FEEL FREE TO POKE AROUND.

This site has come into existence to supplement (not replace) boycott-riaa.com

They are the place for the core of the news. The FAQs and How-To Documents. They are where you can learn to know the enemy. We are where you can actively fight the enemy. So suit up, because its ON!

To submit news, please initiate BATTLE STATIONS (account required!). If you're ready to Lock'N'Load, please check the WEAPONS LOCKER for available attack and defensive weaponry.

MPAA & RIAA Use Similar Recycling Methods - Example - Disney!

by Time Warrior, Tuesday 21 April 2009 - 17:11:42   email to someone  printer friendly

Its the whole N'Sync, New Kids On The Block, etc... Phenomenon. Take the same old crap, change it slightly to appear as if it is something new and different, advertise as the next hit and make your money over again on the exact same shit.

Harvard Develops P2P Client that uses Bandwidth as “Currency”

Yes, Harvard, the richest University in the world recently started a new line of P2P research. They have an army of law professors to protect them, so unlike others, they must feel safe to do this controversial research in the land of the free and the home of the RIAA/MPAA.

What The BLEEP Do We Know??!!

by Time Warrior, Saturday 14 March 2009 - 20:19:40   email to someone  printer friendly

This Documentary is one of the best I've ever watched. Using every day examples that the "average person" is already well familar with -- to explain the science of it all. The purpose of this is not to tell you what to do, nor is it to suggest to you any particular course of action. It is simply data for your consideration. It is up to you -- the observer -- to make sense of it. To form opinions of it. To determine whether or not this has any practical application within your life at all.

You will NOT be disappointed! This much I promise you! :-) Read further to watch the whole thing -- as the above is merely the trailer.

Give Your Ideas Directly To President Obama

by Time Warrior, Thursday 22 January 2009 - 01:01:56   email to someone  printer friendly

There is a new feature on Change.gov which lets you bring your ideas directly to the President.

It's called the Citizen's Briefing Book, and it's an online forum where you can share your ideas, and rate or offer comments on the ideas of others.

DeviantART Enforces What Some Say Is Unethical Linking Policy

by Time Warrior, Wednesday 21 January 2009 - 12:11:25   email to someone  printer friendly

Prior to this, Artists on DeviantART have from time to time -- been subject to getting Art Submissions moved by DA Gallery Moderators when they should not be moved -- as well as Submissions deleted outright because they offended the ego of the Mod -- not because they violated DA Terms of Use. Some accounts have even gotten banned over these extremely trivial issues.

As if this wasn't bad enough -- this sort of ridiculousness has now extended into the realms of The Music Industry and Fair Use Laws.

CORPORATE THEFT - THE ORPHAN WORKS BILL

by Time Warrior, Tuesday 13 January 2009 - 13:56:30   email to someone  printer friendly
Seeing as the RIAA and MPAA are losing the Digital War, this is one of their attempts to regain some of their foot hold. Attacking the music sharers did not work. So, now they are trying to attack the Independent Artists. Remember -- their whole worry is NOT about money -- it is about POWER.

The Internet Might Not Be What You Think It Is

by Time Warrior, Tuesday 06 January 2009 - 17:32:07   email to someone  printer friendly

Ever wondered how the Internet actually got here? Well, here is one interpretation of the history.

Thus far, the Internet has had 3 stages of evolution:

1) Arpanet (19-60-something to 1978)
2) BBS Scene (1978 to 1999)
3) The Internet (2000 to Date)

Apple Hamster Wheel

by Time Warrior, Tuesday 06 January 2009 - 17:11:57   email to someone  printer friendly

Origin URL: here

Though the basic fundamentals of this idea do have
merit, when they say "simple" I see "annoying". Backed
by even more annoying statements from sheepish consumers
claiming "I like anything thats shiny and from Apple".
Someone get this guy a life-sized Hamster Wheel to go
with his Macbook Wheel!
